Guilt

As a business owner with responsibilities—family, home, vehicles—there’s always a list of tasks that never seems to end. When you’re not checking those boxes, it can easily lead to an overwhelming sense of guilt. That guilt can quietly start driving your entire day. Can you relate?

When in this state we are reacting to our emotions instead of being intentional in creating the life and business we want. It becomes easier to just respond and let the guilt dictate your actions.

Operating from a place of guilt is a low energetic frequency. You end up doing things not because you truly want to, but because you feel like you have to—simply to relieve that emotional burden. Or even worse, procrastinate and not address what you are feeling.

Here’s the truth about guilt: it’s a messenger. Like many emotions, guilt has something to tell us. It’s signaling where we may need to shift our focus or take aligned action. When we take the time to understand where this emotion comes from, we can transform it into something useful.

The next level of dealing with guilt comes when you start creating from a place of desire, not avoidance. When you shift from doing things out of obligation to pursuing what you want, you move with more energy. Instead of being driven by the fear of what happens if you don’t take action, you’re driven by a clear intention of what you want to bring into your life and business. This is where the magic happens—when you use emotions like guilt as a guide and pivot towards creating with purpose.
